Filtration Capabilities

The AQ-CWB-INS uses an electrostatically charged nano-fibre membrane to remove contaminants from drinking water. This membrane uses adsorption, ion exchange and mechanical filtration technology together to reduce levels of Chlorine, Lead and bacteria by over 99%. Even the levels of dangerous cysts such as Cryptosporidium and Giardia can be reduced by 99.99%.

For many of us, drinking bottled water is the safest way to have access to fresh water when away from home. However, with the AQ-CWB-INS a single filter cartridge will typically last for 80 gallons of use, which equates to around 600 plastic water bottles. Therefore, a switch to homemade filtered water is not only cheaper, but it helps to reduce the number of plastic bottles entering the environment.

The AQ-CWB-INS bottle also has the benefit of being made of brushed stainless steel, unlike a vast majority of standard water bottles. This ensures that no chemicals will leach into the water while it is being stored.

Replacement Method

The AQ-CWB-R filter cartridge used in the AQ-CWB-INS is easy to replace and it should take less than 10 minutes to complete. Each replacement cartridge set is provided with a set of instructions showing the fastest method to safely remove the old cartridge and install the new one. No power tools are required to make the exchange.
