The AQ-4035 filters are intended for use as replacement cartridges with the AQ-4000, AQ-4500, AQ-4501, AQ-4600 and AQ-4601 water filter systems. They have a rated capacity of 450 gallons (1,700 litres) and can last for up to 6 months once they have been activated.
These filters have replaced the outdated AQ-4025 filter cartridges previously used in all drinking water filter systems.
Filtration Capabilities
The AQ-4035 filters use a 3-stage filtration method to remove contaminants from drinking water. The stages used are Activated & Catalytic Carbon, Ion-Exchange and Sub-Micron Filtration. Together, this combination forces water under pressure through more than 2 million square feet (total surface area) of filtration media. The end result is water with reduced levels of Chlorine, Chloramine, Lead, Mercury, Pharmaceuticals, Pesticides, Herbicides and many other contaminants. Even the levels of dangerous bacteria such as Cryptosporidium and Giardia can be reduced.
In addition to reducing the levels of many different chemicals and contaminants, the AQ-4035's Claryum filtration method reduces odour and improves the taste of drinking water. This is achieved while also preserving minerals such as calcium, potassium and magnesium, which are vital for growth, development and wellness. As a result of their impressive filtration ability, the AQ-4035 filters meet the NSF Certified Standards 42, 53, 401 and P473.

Replacement Method
The AQ-4035 filter cartridges are easy to replace in any of the compatible water filter systems and by following the recommended method it should take less than 10 minutes to complete. Each replacement cartridge set is provided with a set of instructions showing the fastest method to safely remove the old cartridges and install the new ones and no power tools are required to make the exchange.
AQ-4035 Replacement Instructions
The AQ-4035 is designed specifically to work with the AQ-4000, AQ-4500, AQ-4501, AQ-4600 and AQ-4601 water filter systems. Using off-brand filters not made specifically for these systems can result in leaks, cracks, flooding, water damage, and a severe reduction in performance.

great system easy to install with right fitting I have used the sinktop filter for several years and if the data is as good as published it removes much concern over the myriad additives in usual water supplies. Just drinking water without the usual chlorinated taste makes a difference, always good to return to the filtered water after visiting city and suburban cafe and restaurants with tea tasting heavily laden with additived supply.
