Claryum® Filtration Technology

To ensure complete peace of mind, the AQ-MF-1 uses advanced Claryum® filtration technology to capture contaminants. This technology retains naturally occurring beneficial minerals found in water like calcium, potassium, and magnesium for healthier, more delicious water.

One large, powerful filter combines activated and catalytic carbon with ion exchange and sub-micron filtration, so water is expertly filtered to reduce 78 contaminants while retaining beneficial minerals. One filter replaces more than 6,250 plastic water bottles.

NSF/ANSI Certification

The Claryum® AQ-MF-1 has been independently tested and certified to NSF/ANSI Standards 42, 53 and 401. The results of the tests are available in this Performance Data Sheet.

Standard 42 confirms that the system can reduce aesthetic impurities in the form of taste or odours, typically caused by chemicals such as Chlorine and Chloramine.

Standard 53 confirms that the system can reduce contaminants known to impact physical health. Cysts such as Cryptosporidium or chemicals such as Lead or Mercury fall into this category.

Standard 401 confirms that the system can remove 15 specific contaminants commonly found in water supplies to a specified level. BPA, Estrone, Ibuprofen and TCEP are some of the chemicals assessed among the 15.

The NSF/ANSI certification tests also look at material safety and structural integrity as part of the overall assessment. These additional evaluations ensure that there are no design shortcomings that could compromise the system's filtration ability.

Filter Installation Procedure

The Claryum® AQ-MF-1 has been purpose-built for easy installation and universal application. The recommended installation method and compatibility details are available in this Instruction Manual.

Since the AQ-MF-1 is an under sink water filtration system, we advise hiring a registered plumber to complete the installation. Hiring a professional ensures that the system can operate to the best of its ability and avoids the risk of water damage due to leaks.

All the parts needed for the standard installation procedure are available in the box, along with the filter. However, if the existing plumbing is of a different diameter or non-standard design, additional fittings may need to be purchased separately.
