These work very well at clearing all particales from the water supply. For my application I only have to replace every 8 to 10 months so very good value for money.

Aquasana Rhino EQ-304-20 sediment pre-filter replacement cartridge 4-pack, for use with the EQ1000 Premium Rhino Whole House Water Filter.
The sediment pre-filter is used to prevent dirt and sediment particles from entering and clogging the main filter unit. This cartridge should be replaced every 2 months depending on water quality and sediment levels. Change when color darkens or water flow slows.
